John L Pearson is an Artist/Producer/Songwriter based just outside Nashville in Clarksville, TN. John creates a unique and powerful style of Pop, Indie Rock and Singer-Songwriter music.
His vocal and instrumental music has been used worldwide in Film/TV and in Internet/Radio advertising for many clients including Chase Card, Hyundai, Samsung, Nissan, FedEx, Target and Cricket Wireless. His songs have been used on The CW "Legacies" , ABC "The Rookie" , Netflix "Outer Banks", Disney “Diary of a Future President”, CBS "S.W.A.T" and CBS "Young and Restless" to name a few. You can find John's solo & cowritten, male & female vocal songs under the following project names; Random Self, Kid Under Glass, Tornado Park, Pearson/Perryman, Chase Mercury, Reveica, & Pearson/Thacker.
John L Pearson grew up in the Northeast, and played bass on his first album at age 14. He honed his craft playing bass and writing songs in a variety of genres - from Jazz, Country, Rock to Top 40 Pop- while playing in bands up and down the East Coast.
After moving to Los Angeles and living & performing there for several years, he moved to Nashville in the 90's and found his home in Tennessee.
John has performed with many #1 selling artists as a bass player/ vocalist, played bass on a Grammy winning album, and has toured world-wide. In addition to songwriting, John currently performs solo acoustic shows, and plays bass for several bands based in the Nashville area.
